What is EyeGym?

EyeGym is online Visual Intelligence Training that unlocks your potential to make faster, smarter decisions. Its for anyone who wants to enhance their performance by making faster and better decisions.

What are the benefits of EyeGym?

EyeGym improves your concentration, attention to detail, comprehension and memory. It also improves your response times, coordination, peripheral and spatial awareness, and ultimately improves the speed at which you see, interpret, decide and act.

Can I train on other devices other than a laptop or desktop computer?

EyeGym is optimized for laptop, desktop and iPad. We do not recommend using this version of EyeGym on a mobile phone.

Which computer operating systems are supported?

One of the biggest factors that may affect your EyeGym performance is your browser, the program you use to access online content. Examples are Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox or Safari. Another factor is your operating system, which runs your computer and stores your files and programs, for example Windows 7.

Because computer technologies are constantly changing, we are not able to guarantee that EyeGym will function flawlessly on all systems. EyeGym is an advanced, data-driven system, therefore newer technologies tend to offer better experiences, so we try to stay up-to-date with the newest versions of browsers and operating systems. Older versions will eventually become unsupported.

To optimize your web experience, we strongly recommend using the latest software:

Can I train for more than 10 minutes per day if I have skipped a day?

We do not recommend training for longer than 5 minutes or 10 minutes per day (depending on your program), and this is not supported for training efficacy reasons. Your time is not transferable if you have skipped a day.

What is the best time of day to do the training?

Any time of day is a good time to train in the EyeGym.

Can I train more than once a day, at times?

Yes, but only for a total training time of 10 minutes per day.

Do I need a mouse to do the drills when I train on my computer?

Yes, but you can also use the trackpad on your laptop. This all helps develop fine motor coordination.

What should I know about EyeGym before I start?

Once you have registered for EyeGym, please remember your login details and do not give these to anyone else.

Read through the drill instructions – these are user friendly and will assist you in understanding how a drill works and what you need to do to complete it successfully.

What should I know about training in the EyeGym?

  • Consider EyeGym like a traditional gym where you train a mix of drills per training session.
  • EyeGym is scientifically formulated to adapt to your individual needs.
  • On certain programs you will initially do an assessment, which you will automatically be prompted to complete when you log in for the first time.
  • The drills appear to be easy when you start training, but drills increase in difficulty as you progress.
  • Don’t always do the same drill. Ensure your EyeGym Fitness by doing a mix of drills.
  • The system will not allow you to train for more than 10 minutes per day. The system refreshes at midnight so you are able to train in the afternoon and then on the following morning if you choose to do so.

How does the initial assessment work?

When you purchase certain programs, when you use them for the first time you will be prompted to do a series of drills which are set at a predetermined and average level.

These assessment drills will measure your level of EyeGym fitness and determine your aptitude in the various visual performance areas.

How do the levels in EyeGym work?

You will only progress to the next level once they have achieved the required pass percentage to do so.

To get to the next level you need to score appropriately in terms of your efficacy, speed, and EyeGym fitness.

This measurement is displayed at the completion of a specific level.

How does the ranking in EyeGym relate to performance?

Drill scores are updated in realtime as you train on the EyeGym.

Your ranking is calculated via aggregated scores, calculated in the following way. It is based on the same algorithm that is used to calculate ranking in EyeGym.

How can I improve my ranking?

By training in all the drills in your daily 10 minute session and improving your scores, particularly the scores of the drills you have completed.

How can I progress through the EyeGym programme faster?

The EyeGym is no different to a traditional gym in one respect – consistent weekly training is necessary to achieve optimal EyeGym Fitness.

The more effectively you train the better your results.

Can someone else train on my programme?

This is not permitted, and would also influence your results and your own progress calculation will be affected. Everyone’s visual system is unique and the training needs be completed individually.

How does each drill improve my EyeGym performance?

Each of the drills has been scientifically formulated to develop an element of EyeGym fitness. By training your EyeGym skills on a regular basis you will achieve better visual sharpness and overall decision-making capability through the following:

  • Quicker responses
  • Improved peripheral awareness
  • Improved co-ordination
  • Better judgement skills
  • Improved concentration
  • Better awareness of space and time
  • Improved decision making
  • Improved ability to focus better and for longer periods
  • Improved decision making
  • Improved scanning ability
  • Improved visual memory
  • Quicker visual recognition
  • Improved eye hand coordination
  • Improved visual reaction time

What is the optimal amount of time that I should train for each week?

If you are struggling with any of the EyeGym drills then you are encouraged to invest extra time in mastering these specific drills.
